Each of these corporations makes large contributions to the Bush administration, and also behave in specific ways that are detrimental to the world in some way, such as damaging the environment, working with sweat shops, or supporting state terrorism.
What makes this boycott different?
Our boycotts don't start until we reach 10,000 members. Right now we have members. We have a dynamic site with a private database of members that allows you to sign up, learn about the boycotts, print a boycott reference card for your wallet, and send this to your friends. On our home page, we have a tree animation that represents how many members are signed up, and you can watch how many people are signed up and how many people signed up because of you. At increments of 10,000, we send out messages to our members and update them on the current boycotts. And we provide specific actions that these corporations can take to end our boycott against them.
